Hallo \u2013 I'm Heidi, the farmer's wife from the Aussermairhof<\/span><\/h3>[vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1495350693807{margin-bottom: 35px !important;}” el_class=”separator”]When my husband Thomas is at work, I take care of the stable work<\/strong>, the feeding of the animals and the milking with my mother-in-law Marianna. Thomas works not only at our farm. He also works in a production plant in Bruneck. We invest his income on our organic farm. The whole family helps to manage the organic farm<\/h3>\n

In summer, our children Annalena, Katharina, Joachim and Lorenz help regularly at the hay harvest. There is a lot to do on the 6 hectares of meadows and the 1.5 hectare mountain meadow. We also mow 4 hectares of leased meadow. Our cows give us back wonderful hay milk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our second mainstay is holidays on our organic farm<\/h3>\n

Under the quality brand “Roter Hahn” we offer 2 apartments in country house style – on request with breakfast<\/strong>. We were able to get certified for 4 flowers<\/strong>, which we are very proud of.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Recently I realized a little dream<\/h3>\n

and we setted up an alpine wellness area<\/strong> in the basement. At the end of the barefoot path<\/strong> in our garden is the entrance to the small, fine relaxation area. In the hay bed<\/strong> it smells like our mountain meadow at the “Lobbiser Schupfen”<\/strong>. Relaxation loungers, a massage shower and a Physiotherm infrared cabin are still the highlight for my idea of alpine wellness<\/strong>. Next to the cows in the pasture, a few chickens – my dream came true.<\/p>\n

A reason to continue dreaming …<\/h3>\n

Last year we decided to participate in “South Tyrol Balance”. We are very happy to be part of this community. It is important for us that our guests feel comfortable all around. So I also thought to offer up to 3 times a week dinner in our lounge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What’s next?<\/h3>\n

I still have an ambitious goal – otherwise I would not be Heidi.<\/p>\n

I would like to write little stories: about the farm, the landscape, the traditions. We have modernized our website a bit so that we can blog there as well. To be honest, at the moment the system dominates me – but I am confident, that I will be able to occasionally surprise you with a piece of Aussermairhof on your mobile phone or computer outside of the holiday season.<\/p>\n
