A tour in the Taufers Castle without a guide is only possible in summer:
\nAccessible are the gate with the former drawbridges, the beautiful castle garden, the large courtyard with “smithy” and ice cellar. The components are described on information boards. Also accessible without a guide are the keep with movie screening room (documentary film about the castle), the battlements and the attic of the former palace (“box”) – this is especially worth seeing.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/12″ offset=”vc_col-lg-2″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Castel Taufers – guided tour<\/em>
\nThis tour will feature more than twenty decorated rooms, including the courtroom, library, chapel, knights’ hall, hospital room, late gothic office, “ghost room”, armory, cardinals room and other comfortable guest rooms. Particularly impressive are the dungeon and the “torture chamber”. A collection of student portraits from the 16th century is considered an extraordinary rarity.<\/em><\/p>\n
